Marjana cooperative
As part of our CSR commitments with the Marjana cooperative, Bureau Veritas in Morocco conducted a diagnostic on the site, which is located in the Essaouira region, before implementing an action plan to support this artisanal cooperative.
These audits were conducted in compliance with recognized certification processes, based on international standards. Two certifications were deployed :
- HACCP certification, based on the identification, evaluation and description of control measures
As a support, Bureau Veritas carried out an initial audit (diagnosis) which was completed in March 2021. The resulting action plan was shared with managers to improve and identify non-conformities. The edition of this certificate is in progress.
- ISO 22716 certification which defines the rules of good manufacturing practices for cosmetic products.
An initial audit (diagnosis) was conducted at this level in March 2021, and the resulting action plan was shared with managers for improvement and non-conformity removal. An audit session is scheduled for March.
