Labomag invests in ion exchange chromatography

Feb. 25 2022

Bureau Veritas Morocco Labomag invests in ion exchange chromatography which is a chemistry technique for separating and quantifying constituents (ions) in aqueous solutions.

This technique allows for the accurate, repeatable, and reproducible detection of ions at low levels. With this equipment, the laboratory can now perform simultaneous analysis of anions and cations and reduce the time for these parameters.

The teams were able to set up the following methods of analysis of the following ions, Fluoride (F), Chloride (Cl), Nitrite (NO2), Chlorate (ClO3), Bromine (Br), Nitrate (NO3), Sulfate (SO4), Lithium (Li), Sodium (Na), Ammonium (NH4), Potassium (K), Magnesium (M) a few days after it was installed (Mg).

This new technology will allow our teams to process more than 50 samples per day in the field of environmental, agri-food and agronomic analysis.
